If I was a famous author I would publish a book with ten different endings which all went to print with varying degrees of rarity, but not tell the fans about it so that I could watch their confusion as they disagree over how the story ended. Then when they figured it out I would ‘come clean’, telling them that I had released eleven alternate endings and watch them panic again as they all try to find the last ending.

This is perfect.

It disgusts me how little punishment rapists get. You destroyed someone physically and mentally and you only get 1 year, if that, in prison? Ridiculous. 

Do you understand that rapists and child molester are brutally and viciously beaten and raped once the murderers and robbers and scattered others find out what they do. One year isn’t enough. But when you add in that it comes close.

it may be true that some rapists get “punished” by other prisoners, but far too many rapists get off without any punishment whatsoever. without having to go to prison at all. rape is absolutely inexcusable. it doesn’t matter how much punishment the ones that do go to prison get. what matters is that no rapist should be able to commit such a terrible act without getting punished for it. 

Just putting in my two cents:

My two rapists/molesters got absolutely no prison time. They have to have their name on a sex offender list on the internet that no job or school can actually access. They basically got absolutely no punishment at all.

My friend’s father abused him, and was sent to prison for it (among other offenses.) His father was killed in prison when the other inmates found out what he did. In my friends words, “If he hadn’t been killed in prison, I would have done it myself.”

I honestly do not feel sympathy for any child abuser/molester/rapist being beaten or killed in prison. Perhaps that makes me a bad person; but I cannot bring myself to feel bad that they are truly being punished for what they have done.
